            The author

 
Learning Consultant and Literacy Adviser Chris Lawrence, B.Ed.(Hons.) M.A., taught across age ranges from 3 to 21 in England and, for several years, worked voluntarily for the Ministry of Education in the beautiful Commonwealth of Dominica, in the West Indies. Recently, she spent an extended stay in Florida, where she visited and worked in 3 schools. She is currently back in England,working in schools and on this rapidly expanding website, adding to its pages and replying to emails from its ever growing number of visitors.
Chris  uses her wealth of teaching experience, her academic qualifications and her lively creativity, to give practical, colourful suggestions that can make a real difference to improving classroom management and learning outcomes.
